Two years ago I did an intensive research about Rimmel Apocalipse Lip Lacquer. Internet loved it! Users loved it! There were hundreds of posts about it and they were all very positive. Why didn't I acquire it then? Oh I am cheapo and couldn't just pay 10 € for a lip gloss! I know, there are 10x more expensive lip glosses, but hey I am not buying them either :D.

Kui ma seda £1,99 soodushinnaga fragrancedirect'is nägin, siis oli see nagu väike võit :D. Sel hetkel oli mul ka oranži-hullustus ning nii rändaski ostukorvi toon 500 Luna. 

Fragrancedirect is a lovely place, where everything is so cheap! And yeah, Rimmel Apocalipse lip lacquer was cheap too ;). Like £1,99 cheap :D. This was an era when I was chasing around a good orange lip color, so naturally I chose a orangy tone named Luna (500).

Tegemist ei ole kõige kergema huuleläikega. Pealekandmine vajab natukene rohkem aega ja kindlat kätt (seda tuleb natukene hajutada, sest esialgu jääb see üpris gradientselt peale). Kõige parem on aplikaator tuubist välja tõmmata ning siis see lihtsalt ootama panna, et õhuga kokkupuutel värv natukene "taheneks". Kindlasti ei soovita  aplikaatorile ka kohe kuhjaga värvi jätta. Kõige kergem on määrida peale õhuke kiht ning siis edasi kiht-kihi haaval värvi intensiivsemaks muuta. Ehmatav on kindlasti esialgne värvi huulevagudesse valgumine, kuid nii see ka jääb - esialgseks. Lõhn on väga mõnus, natukene hapukam. Kahjuks on läikel lühike eluiga, kuid õnneks kulub ühtlaselt ja on kergesti taastatav. Umbes 2 tunni möödumisel on huuleläikest järel ainult mälestus ning riismed, kuid huuled on ikkagi pehmed!

It is not the easiest lip gloss. Application is a little bit trickier, more time consuming and needs a steady hand. The easiest way is to let the applicator dry a little bit and then use it. One light coat is efficient for the first time and then you can intensify the color with each thin coat. The laquer is runny and wont stay put for the first few minutes. But it will "dry" and then it is a beautiful lip gloss that will make your day better! Unfortunately it has one flaw: it's short "lifespan". As you can see on the picture, it takes only 2 hours to faint. But you can always add a new coat ;).

Lõppkokkuvõttes jääb huuleläige ilus, natukene läbikumav ning mittekleepuv. Eestis olen näinud Rimmeli Apocalipse huuleläiget müüdamas 8 ... 10 €. Samas on alati võimalik ka fragrancedirect'ist tellida ;). Minu valitud värvi enam pakkumisel pole, kuid saadaval on 10 teist ilusat tooni!

In conclusion, it is a good lip lacquer. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. It is translucent, but not sticky.
